I felt stuck in boring introductions that had no punch, were predictable and not very meaningful, and often I couldn’t remember what I had said afterwards. I was nervous and so often unprepared. By using the techniques I learned in Amy’s Impactful Speaking coaching group, I now know the joy of practicing what I am going to say, no matter how long or short the speaking will be; the power of using “you” to bring the audience into whatever I am saying; and the benefit of the “stress reducing” breathing exercises. These techniques have given me power over fear and anxiety in public speaking.
