Amy is a former licensed financial planner and has been a successful fundraiser for over 30 years, raising over $100 million for numerous political and charitable causes. She serves on the Board of Directors for The Mob Museum, is a member of the Las Vegas Fremont Rotary Club, and was recently named as an Ambassador for St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.
Governor Kenny Guinn selected Amy as the first female to serve on the Nevada Athletic Commission in 1999. That same year, she chaired the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ), which presented her with its Community Hero award in 2000. Las Vegas’ Centennial Committee also named Amy one of the women responsible for shaping the city during its first 100 years of growth. Acknowledging not only her community efforts and fundraising talent, but also her keen business acumen, In Business Las Vegas honored Amy as one of the Most Influential Businesswomen of 2003.
